A collection of unfinished, half-finished, and spontaneous musical ideas chronologically ordered according to their times of conception between late 2016 and mid 2018. As its nature suggests, this collection does not amount to a singularly concentrated effort and thus is not necessarily representative of Godwinson's musical identity nor does it reflect the themes that I intend to communicate through this project moving forward. Godwinson started out as a platform for me to express myself on a moment-to-moment basis, but has since become more aligned with my musical sensibilities than my other projects ever were, and so I intend to continue creating under this moniker in a more full-time capacity. That is not to say I will abandon the "sketchbook" concept entirely which is why I expect to release more compilations like this in the future strictly as inconsequential companions to the main releases that I plan to do. None of these tracks have been edited in the slightest ever since they were first mixed down and I hope you take that into account when listening to them. It's more honest that way. Thank you all for listening.
